Queen of over training here. It was ridiculous. Beating myself to death for hours in the gym and getting nowhere.

the biggest mistake i have done is sacrificing form for heavy weights.

Several years ago, after a long layoff putting way too much weight on the leg sled thinking I could pick up where I left off, the 10th rep of the first set severly sprained both ankles and achillies tendons. Had to go to a sports specialist and was out of work and off my feet for two weeks before I could even walk. And to this day have two bone spurs on the bottom of both feet and can not stand in one location long periods of time without being in pain.

I haven't made any huge costly mistakes, but i did stop deadlifting and squatting for a few months awhile back. Since i started them again ive noticed how much they help you grow bigger and stronger.
