just a thought.
lets say you have a guy w/ 16% bodyfat
and another with 10% bodyfat

they both have the same weight in LBM, same musculature, but the 16% is just a little fatter

and they both run something w/ plenty of water retention.
like 50mgs of dbol a day.

should the fatter guy be prone to a much more drastic change in water retention than the lean guy? .... like the sub q fat acts as extra space for the water to occupy.

I haven't ran dbol in a while, but the last time i ran it, my bodyfat was higher. but now that i'm leaner, the water retention doesn't fluctuate as drastic as before

Pretty much, yes.

Don't forget genetics. I've taken deca at 8% bodyfat and gained water weight WAY faster than a buddy of mine who was at about 13 or 14%. Genetics matter more than body fat, when it comes to water retention, in my opinion.
